Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

oh yeah and I'm trying to get GIMP so i can mimic MSPAINT style without the difficulties of actual paint.
Fuck, It made me download a bunch of stupid crap (i dont care about the weather damn it!)

ANYWAYS~ I have been containing all this for awhile so expect a hole chunk loads of crap that may or may not apply to you!

1: Yaoi insest.
I hate yaoi to begin with (it is honestly just a sad excuse for fan service for lonely women) but yaoi insest really? Would you fuck your brother/sister? I wouldnt. So why are there people that ship two siblings and make awful fanfictions about them having sex? I know these are fictional characters but the fact that there are people that ok with that shit. It makes me feel sorry for Emmet and Ingo. Damn that submas fandom, no wonder i left you

2: Being a proper fan of something
Am I the only one that gets pissed off when someone says they are a huge fan of something but they havent properly gotten into the fandom yet? It just annoys the shit out of me when I see posers saying they like pokemon when they only know one pokemon: pikachu.
Or when someone just "adores" homestuck and they have to constantly quote gamzee or feferi when one doesn't even know who roxy is or jake

3: fandoms itself
Yeah fandoms are great, you get to connect with people with the sames likes as you from a certain show or manga but sometimes they get really out of hand: The yaoi shipping wars and the roleplaying in certain fandoms are awful! Don't even get me started on the god awful OCs that spawn out of these fandoms. (why the fuck would you want to make an oc for a nuclear disaster). I will admit to be guilty of making awful OCs but im saying this for future "generations" that are thinking of making an OC. It's funny because this is why I left the Hetalia fandom in the first place (right around that time when hetaliatards started making "ask pony [insert country here] accounts)

4: people i HATE getting into the things i like
( this one is really immature, feel free to skip this one) This happened today: someone was telling this idiot from my english class to read homestuck. Such an imbecile like him does not deserve to lay his eyes on hussies art work. My goodness.

5: Raven.
Fuck this kid and his life. I sometimes easedrop his convos with him and the gang that sits behind me but..... oh lord the pisses me off the most in that group. His comments can be rather sexist and hes just the type of idiot. Nobody likes him in that class. With reason. You try to reason with him, he just ends up yelling at you like a prepubescent 11 year old.

1. i hate it too. yaoi? i never liked it. i don't have anything against gays, but uhm...thing about it is...all of it is perverted and sexual. i do not like perverted and sexual.
2. i was like that at first, but not for long. i also hate it when someone says they love something but only knows little about it and hasn't even read/played/watched it yet. my sis says she likes homestuck...but she hasn't fucking read it yet, she just hears me and my other sis talking about it.
